The Prairie Arts Center is a non-profit in downtown North Platte, NE, that provides opportunities for creative self-expression through exhibits, classes, concerts, & a variety of community events.

Built in 1913 with a unique architectural style, the building now known as Prairie Arts Center served as a federal building and a college before becoming an arts center in 2008. Through fundraising and volunteer efforts, the Prairie Arts Center has been steadily restored, offering art classes, gallery space, studios, and event venues for the community
